We have made every effort to make the information as clear as possible for the different models offered. The Ford Power Stroke diesel 7.3L has four choices. The early years 1994 through 1995 ½ uses a pump that has an edge filter in the IPR Valve. If you order this pump and have a newer truck it will not work with your IPR Valve. The other three pumps don't have many differences. The main difference is the line connector fittings. The newer pumps, such as the HPOP007X and HPOP008X, use a "push on" type fitting. The earlier pumps use a screw on fitting. Bostech upgrades all its pumps to the newer design. This means you will get the most advanced design available. The pump on the newer model truck pumps at a higher pressure, allowing the diesel fuel injectors to operate more efficiently.
